An Exciting Year Ahead!
Happy New year everyone!!!
While you were stuffing your faces with turkey and christmas pud we were back in the studio recording an accoustic session for our friend Ace (Skunk Anansie founding member and guitarist). He's got an awesome new radio show:
http://www.myspace.com/theacenewmusicshow Check him out!!!
we also did a jingle for his show too and.... brace yourself.... I've just uploaded it and jingle so check it out!!!
We've got a couple of shows in the pipline, but more news on that soon.
But we're spending the next few months writing our 3rd album (we cant take no for an answer!!). we've got about 3 or 4 tracks work in progress at the moment, but they are sounding absolutely awesome (even if i do say so myself!!!)
So keep an eye on us for more updates soon...

Rest in Peace Friend
We've just received some really upsetting news.
A friend and true supporter of ours, Gary Rooke passed away on the weekend. I can't tell you how much he will be missed!
He, along with Stu, his best mate, and the rest of the gang in Scunthorpe, have been so unbelievably supportive over the years and we will never forget it.
Our thoughts are with Gary's family and friends.
We are so glad we got to know you Gary, and so glad we were able to come and play for you and see you one last time.
All our Love,
Sal x

SCUNTHORPE!!
Well It had been a while since we'd seen our friends at the Lincoln Imp in Scunthorpe, so we decided to pay them a visit and to play them all the songs from our new album. After a long 5 hour journey in a mini bus (coz we couldn't get a transit :) and thank you to Noog for driving! he's a star! we arrived at our destination greeted by a room full of friendly faces, as usual. Everything was well organised, the soundcheck went smoothly and we were glad to be there.
We were supported by local bands, who got a bit of a buzz going, and though the place wasn't packed out, the people there were a great crowd! very enthusiastic!... and leading them were loyal Sal fans Will, Gary and Stu who were last seen sleeping on Noog's floor after a Sal gig in Barfly, Cardiff! It was great to see you guys and to meet your lovely partners and friends! Thanks guys!
The new songs went down really well! especially Conversations With My Therapist, woo hoo! plenty of copies of the new album were signed along with a signed T-Shirt for a place on the wall in the very popular local Music Shop, right next to Skunk Anansie's Tee :o)
We said goodbye to our friends at the Lincoln Imp and promised to return next year, and left the venue not long after midnight. We stopped in a garage for snacks for the journey home om yom yom. Chris being the perfect bass player that he is kept Noog awake by talking to him about his favourite subject, recording, all the way home. Awwwwwwwwww...
Den was in the back with the girls me and Hala (Sal photographer, friend, and Chris' other half :)
but I think we did more sleeping than talking about fashion this time.... I probably shouldn't have had a new memory foam mattress put on my bed the night before the gig! anyways that's another story!
Thank you Lincoln Imp for having us back! Sorry we didn't to the cover of 'Diamonds are Forever' you so wanted at the end :o) We will come back again and do it for you! What's that I hear? the boys shouting "NOOOooooooooooooooooo" :o) but Catrin always has her way ;op
